FORMALIZATION OF THE RESERVATION OF OUR VILLAS

When making a reservation with MENORCAHOLIDAYHOME through the website, the user or client expressly declares to know, understand and accept the terms of use, the general conditions and the property usage rules. In the same way, the user declares to be of legal age and to have the legal capacity and the ability to act necessary to access the menorcaholidayhome.com website, owned by Coel Servi, S.L.U., and the contracting by means of them.

The reservation in standard rate is formalized with a deposit of a 25% of the final amount, not being considered firm until the mentioned payment is made. The rest of the payment must be made fifteen days before the arrival at the villa, otherwise the reservation is considered as cancelled, according to the conditions detailed in the cancellation section.

The reservation in non-refundable rate is formalized with the payment of 100% of the final amount of the reservation.

The reservation can be made by bank transfer (when selecting this form of payment you will receive, together with the confirmation of your reservation request, an e-mail with the bank details to make the payment). It is very important that when making the transfer you indicate the reservation number. You must make it within the next 72 hours, if the payment is not made within this maximum period, the reservation will be considered as cancelled.

If the reservation is made within the fifteen days prior to arrival, the entire stay must be paid at the time of booking.

Payment must be made in EUROS and the exchange and / or transfer commissions are paid by the client who makes the reservation.

CANCELLATIONS IN STANDARD RATE RESERVES

If the client withdraws from the rental of the contracted villa, he will be entitled to a refund of a part of the amount paid based on the time elapsed:

  • The day before arrival or no-show: it will mean the loss of 100% of the amount paid.
  • If the cancellation occurs between 2 and 14 days before arrival: it will mean the loss of 50% of the amount paid.
  • If it occurs with an advance equal to or greater than 15 days, 25% of the total amount of the reservation is lost, that is, the deposit already paid.

CANCELLATION CONDITIONS IN NON-REFUNDABLE RATE

The loss of 100% of the amount paid. The cancellation conditions in this type of rates are limited to force majeure conditions, duly justified.

CHANGES AND MODIFICATIONS IN THE RESERVATION

MenorcaHolidayHome will offer the services confirmed in the reservation. Any subsequent change must be requested by email to info@menorcaholidayhome.com, and will always be subject to availability and possible additional charges.

Certain changes and modifications of dates may be possible if there is availability in the same home or in another of our company. For this reason, we ask you to contact us as soon as possible so that we can inform you of the possibilities and, if possible, whether or not there is any additional cost.

ALTERNATIVE

MenorcaHolidayHome reserves the right to replace the reserved home with another one of similar characteristics in case of a force majeure problem (major breakdowns ...).

SERVICES INCLUDED IN THE PRICE OF THE RESERVATION

  • The price includes the VAT.
  • The house is delivered fully equipped, and with bedding and a set of bath towels per person.
  • The check-in is at 2:00 p.m. / 4:00 p.m. and the check-out is at 10:00 a.m.
  • Contact telephone number for emergencies 24 hours a day.
  • Basic cleaning service and change of sheets and towels during the stay if it is longer than one week.
  • All maintenance of the properties, including swimming pool, garden and any technical incident.
  • All properties have free WiFi connection; MenorcaHolidayHome is not responsible for the lack of service due to technical problems of the WiFi supplying company, although it will take care of notifying and following up on the fault.

EXTRAS SERVICES

If you want any extra equipment or service, you can request it directly at the time of booking or communicate it later in order to guarantee it.

The rates are as follows:

  • BEACH TOWEL: 0.50 euros / day
  • BASIC FOOD PACKAGE: 25 euros
  • COT EQUIPPED WITH SHEETS AND BLANKET: 3.60 euros / day
  • BABY HIGH CHAIR: 2.00 euros / day
  • SECURITY BARRIER: 2.00 euros / day
  • SUPPLEMENTARY EQUIPPED BED: 4.30 euros / day

At no additional cost, we have other baby accessories at the reception (plastic bathtub, hammock, strollers ...)

If you have any extra request, indicate it in the comments section and we will help you manage it (transfer, anniversary cake, flowers, cava, wine...)

TOURIST TAX PAYMENT

The tourist tax in force in the Balearic Islands is not included in the price of the house. It is charged per person / night, with bonuses depending on the length of stay. Children and adolescents under the age of 16 are exempt. The tax will be paid at reception upon arrival and registration.

The amount of the tax corresponding to the reservation will be calculated based on the number of people and nights of accommodation in the tourist home:

You must pay 2.20€/person /night (VAT included).

Only half the amount will be paid in the following cases:

  • From the 9th day of accommodation
  • In low season (from November 1st to April 30th)

RENTAL PROPERTY REGULATIONS

The client undertakes to conserve and maintain the property in good condition, being at his / her expense the damages that occur in it.

The loss of the keys to the villa and the additional cost of changing the lock will be borne by the client.

The utmost respect for the neighbourhood is requested. The organization of parties and events is not allowed. Disturbing noises are not allowed for the neighbourhood from 11pm to 8am.

The usage rules of the pool must be respected and children must always be supervised by an adult.

MenorcaHolidayHome reserves the right to enter and inspect the property if it receives any notice, complaint or has indications of breach of rules and to ask the client to evict the property if there is a serious case of damage or inconvenience, without the right to compensation or refund of the amounts paid.

If you want to bring your pet, please contact us stating your interest and it will be valued, we empathize with your illusion that your pet can accompany you on your vacation, leaving a deposit in case there is any damage.

FORCE MAJEURE EVENTS POLICY

The establishment cannot be considered responsible in case of non-compliance of its obligations due to force majeure reasons (transport interruptions and cancellations, travel recommendations and restrictions, sanitary and quarantine recommendations, changes in applicable legislation and other impositions of the authorities). It is expressly agreed that force majeure reasons suspend the performance of the reciprocal obligations and that each part will be responsible for the expenses derived from it.

For reservations affected by force majeure conditions, duly justified, three alternatives will be offered to customers so that they can choose the best alternative:

  1. another date to stay in the future in the same villa or in another villa with similar characteristics, depending on availability. Depending on the date the price may vary, or
  2. a voucher equal to the value paid by the client, to be used in a future stay, or
  3. the refund of any payment made.

DATA PROTECTION

In accordance with the provisions of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of April 27, 2016 (RGPD), the Organic Law 3/2018 of December 5 (LOPDGDD) and other legal regulations in force on the protection of personal data, we inform you that the personal data incorporated in this document will be treated by COEL-SERVI, SLU , (Responsible for Treatment), in order to maintain a business relationship and keep them as long as this relationship is maintained. The data will not be communicated to third parties, except for legal obligation, nor will any international transfer be made without your prior consent. Likewise, it is reported that you can exercise the rights of access, rectification, portability and deletion of your data and those of limitation and opposition to your treatment by going to COEL-SERVI, SLU , with domicile PASSEIG DEL PRAT, LOCAL X-38, URB. SON BOU,07730, ALAIOR, ISLAS BALEARES or by sending an email to INFO@MENORCAHOLIDAYHOME.COM, along with a photocopy of your DNI indicating the type of right you wish to exercise. If you believe that the treatment does not conform to current regulations, you may file a complaint with the control authority at agpd.es.

APPLICABLE LAW AND JURISDICTION

For the resolution of disputes or issues related to this website or the activities that are developed therein, they shall be governed by the laws applicable in Spain, to which the parties expressly submit, being the Courts of COEL-SERVI, SLU as the competent entities that shall resolve all disputes that derive or are related to the use performed by such parties.
